he Redditch Local History Society  was founded in late 2009 with the  aim of promoting, preserving and protecting the heritage of the unique history of Redditch, a small town in the West Midlands.

We are based at the Forge Mill Needle Museum and Bordesley Abbey Visitor Centre,  and we document and communicate the history of Redditch by means of  exhibitions, talks, maps, walks and audio/visual records.

We have monthly meetings throughout the year.  At the meetings we follow our activities and allow members to present their own local history activities.  We also aim at every meeting to have an activity such as a presentation or film related to Redditch history.
