If you are interested in joining the Society then the easiest way to do this is to come to a meeting and join

on the day. If you are interested in our Society but are unable to attend meetings, you can follow us on

Facebook and download our newsletter from this site.

To identify and collate data on the existing buildings and artefacts.

To encourage interest and promote the preservation of the towns historic sites and artefacts.

•

To create an effective presence on the web to communicate information on Redditch history.

•

To mount exhibitions related to the history of Redditch.

•

To collaborate with other societies/organisations involved in local heritage matters.

•

To encourage members to provide talks/presentations for local societies.

•

To communicate our activities through local media resources.

As well as the Updates page, regular updates to the Redditch Local History Society

activities can be found on Facebook and Twitter. These are personal accounts maintained

by the Society’s Secretary/Website Administrator.
